DVD Cased - The Demolition of Truth
Winner of "Best Documentary Feature" – 2016 Metropolitan Film Festival of NYC
“Finally, a documentary that addresses why people can’t – or won’t – hear the truth about 9/11.” - Ed Asner
NEVER BEFORE has the TRUTH – like the evidence – been so swiftly and thoroughly deconstructed, purged, and destroyed as in the case of the September 11, 2001 attacks on America.
We were lied to – by those we trusted to ensure the safety and security of our nation. We continue to be lied to. Indeed, so incomprehensible are the implications of the Truth that we have even lied to ourselves.
Since that day, the facts have been denied, obscured, and buried under layers of security classifications, disinformation, and psychological slight-of-hand. Those who expose the lies and seek Truth – through demands for a competent investigation – are dismissed, ridiculed, discredited, or worse.
In this film, respected social scientists examine the variety of phenomena that have kept us blinded to Truths too horrible to even acknowledge, despite evidence that, in many cases, hides in plain sight.
Equally important, they offer insights that can help us all break free of the deceptions and respond appropriately to the deeply rooted corruption that steadily erodes our inalienable rights and freedoms.
An edited version of “The Demolition of Truth” was featured by Colorado Public Television in their very successful 2016 pledge drive. The full-length version was selected to be the opening documentary screened at the 2016 9/11Truth Festival in Oakland, California.
The producer of this film, Charles Ewing Smith, is also an Executive Producer – along with Richard Gage, AIA, – and co-editor, of "9/11: Explosive Evidence-Experts Speak Out”, which has become one of the most viewed 9/11 documentaries ever.
After re-visiting the outtakes of the psychologists interviewed in that film, he was compelled to make what became "The Demolition of Truth - Psychologists Examine 9/11”, as he felt this angle on the traumatic 9/11 events should not be ignored.
Charles Ewing Smith is a seeker of truth and justice, and has devoted much of his time, talent, and energy to raising public awareness on a number of important issues. He currently lives in Pasadena, CA and has worked as a sound editor in the film industry for several years on films such as, “Pulp Fiction", "Reservoir Dogs", "Sin City" and "The Witches of Eastwick”.
